Recruitment and Compliance Coordinator
I’m currently supporting a fantastic independent school that is looking to appoint a Recruitment and Compliance Coordinator to join their People team.
- What you’ll be doing
- Managing the end‑to‑end recruitment process for academic and support staff.
- Coordinating interviews, assessment days and candidate communications.
- Creating engaging job adverts and supporting recruitment campaigns.
- Managing pre‑employment checks including DBS, right to work, references and overseas checks.
- Ensuring full compliance with KCSIE and safer recruitment requirements.
- Supporting onboarding and induction for new starters.
- Maintaining accurate recruitment records and preparing compliance documentation.
- Working closely with hiring managers to deliver a seamless recruitment experience.
- What we’re looking for
- Previous experience managing recruitment within HR.
- Strong knowledge of safer recruitment and pre‑employment compliance.
- Experience coordinating multiple vacancies and busy interview schedules.
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the organisation.
- Experience using HR systems or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Knowledge of KCSIE guidance is highly desirable.

- Location: Hampton
- Salary: £34,327 (38 weeks per year, term‑time plus 4 weeks)
