Salary: Β£54,000 - Β£59,000
We are looking for an experienced Curriculum Manager to lead and develop Health, Social Care and Childcare provision across 16-18 and adult programmes. This is a hands-on curriculum leadership role, combining team management, curriculum planning, quality improvement and teaching.
The Role
- Lead and manage Health & Childcare curriculum provision
- Line manage, support and develop teaching staff
- Drive quality improvement, learner outcomes and curriculum performance
- Monitor KPIs including recruitment, retention, achievement and progress
- Lead curriculum planning, timetabling and resource allocation
- Work with employers and stakeholders to ensure provision reflects local skills needs
- Monitor teaching, learning and assessment through learning walks, observations and deep dives
- Develop and implement quality improvement plans
- Support learner progress, attendance, behaviour and achievement
- Teach 7-12 hours per week, acting as a role model for teaching staff
- Support the development of innovative teaching, digital learning and effective use of AI
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong Further Education experience within Health, Social Care, Childcare or a closely related area
- Experience in curriculum management or team leadership
- A strong track record of improving the quality of provision and learner outcomes
- Experience of curriculum planning and developing schemes of learning
- Experience using data, KPIs and management information to drive improvement
- A full teaching qualification or working towards one
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
