We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Electrical Installations Lecturer/Assessor to join a dynamic team of industry professionals and inspire the next generation of Electricians.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver learning activities in line with curriculum requirements.
- Deliver engaging and effective learning programmes supported by efficient classroom management.
- Operate in accordance with College policies and the requirements of awarding and examining bodies, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Monitor, assess, and record student and client progress accurately.
- Mark learner work promptly and provide constructive, timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate, organised, and effective administrative records.
- Engage in continuous professional development in line with the College's professional development policy.
- Provide appropriate academic and pastoral support to students to maximise satisfaction, attendance, and achievement.
- Ensure safe working practices are upheld at all times and that all statutory and health and safety requirements are met.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
- Carry out all duties in accordance with College policies, including Equal Opportunities, No Smoking, and Quality Management policies.
- Undertake any additional duties appropriate to the role as reasonably required by College management, including occasional evening or Saturday work and covering for colleagues when necessary.
Essential Requirements
- Electrical Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) covering the core topics of this curriculum.
- Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Evidence of current and up‐to‐date knowledge of the electrical industry.
- Certificate in Education or equivalent Level 5 teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one.
