Location: South (Field-based across regional prison sites, with your base being the closest prison to your home address)

Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (DoE)

What You Will Be Doing

  • Coaching & Development: Actively coach, mentor, and support teachers across regional sites, ensuring new team members adapt quickly to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons.
  • CPD Delivery: Plan, design, and deliver impactful Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions and training tailored to the unique needs of different curriculum areas.
  • Quality Assurance: Lead learning walks, developmental lesson observations, desktop reviews, and assessor evaluations to identify areas of improvement and share models of best practice.
  • Regional Oversight: Work out in the field across the South Region four to five days per week to maintain high engagement, operational visibility, and support performance management processes.

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualifications: A recognised teaching qualification alongside Assessor and/or Verifier awards is essential.
  • Expertise: Substantial vocational teaching experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, innovative learning experiences to complex or challenging cohorts.
  • Quality Improvement: Strong working knowledge of quality assurance framework processes, including target setting, internal verification, and post-observation action planning.
