We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Food & Drink professional with a specialism in Bakery to join a quality team of lecturers and inspire the next generation of learners.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Food & Drink and Bakery courses
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities to support student progression and achievement
  • Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring content aligns with current bakery production, food safety, and hospitality industry standards
  • Support students in developing practical bakery skills, food preparation techniques, and employability within the food and drink sector
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and quality assurance within practical learning environments
  • Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to create an engaging and supportive learning environment
  • Develop industry partnerships with bakeries, patisseries, hospitality venues, and food production organisations to enhance student learning, work placements, and industry engagement

Essential Requirements

  • A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Bakery, Professional Cookery, Food Production, or a related subject
  • Extensive industry experience within bakery, food production, hospitality, or related sectors
  • A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
