A respected education and training provider local to Hull is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is ideal for an engineering professional looking to move into education. No teaching qualifications are required - fully funded teaching and assessing qualifications will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- You will deliver engaging theory and practical sessions to Level 3 and Level 4 Engineering learners, supporting their technical development and preparing them for successful careers in industry.
- Teaching areas will include (but are not limited to):
- Mechanical principles
- Engineering mathematics
- Engineering science
- Fluid mechanics
- CAD
- Production engineering
- Related mechanical engineering subjects
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (or closely related discipline)
- Extensive industry experience within mechanical engineering
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage and motivate learners
- A commitment to achieving teaching and assessing qualifications (fully funded)
