Job Title - Electrical Skills Coach

Salary - £31,795 + £5,000 Market Supplement

Location - Hull

Contract Type - Permanent

We are seeking a highly qualified Electrical Assessors to join a dynamic team of educators and inspire the next generation of Electricians.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conducting regular on-site and workplace assessments to evaluate learners' practical skills, competence, and adherence to 18th Edition regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Guiding learners through the preparation, compilation, and submission of their NVQ portfolios and workplace evidence.
  • Delivering constructive, timely feedback and setting targeted action plans to ensure apprentices and learners progress toward qualification milestones.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date assessment records, tracking learner progress, and updating internal electronic portfolio systems (e.g., OneFile, Smart Assessor).
  • Liaising with employers, site managers, and college tutors to coordinate assessment visits, monitor workplace support, and review overall apprentice development.
  • Participating in Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) processes, standardisation meetings, and ongoing professional development to maintain awarding body standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Assesors Qualification Needed
  • A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Electrical.
  • Extensive industry experience in the Electrical industry.
  • A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
