About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Fabrication and Welding Specialist to join an established training provider in the region. Whether you are an experienced instructor looking for a great work-life balance or a seasoned trade professional looking to pass your skills on to the next generation, this role offers a supportive environment and comprehensive funding/training toward formal teaching qualifications. This role involves traveling between training centres and employer sites across the local region to deliver hands-on instruction, assessment, and guidance to apprentices and adult learners.

Salary is competitive and scales directly with your teaching qualifications alongside your industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality practical and theoretical instruction in Fabrication and Welding.
  • Guide learners through their apprenticeship/training journey, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  • Travel between internal sites and local client facilities to assess and support learners in real-world environments.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress and provide constructive feedback.

Essential Requirements

  • Industry Expertise: Strong, verifiable background in practical Fabrication & Welding.
  • Mobility: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential due to the requirement to travel between locations where public transport is not practical.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
