Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Delivery
- Plan and deliver vocational Plumbing lessons across levels
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Use effective assessment methods and provide timely feedback
- Embed English, maths, and employability skills
- Student Support
- Motivate and support students to achieve their goals
- Manage behaviour and monitor progress, attendance, and achievement
- Deliver tutorials and provide individual learner support
- Curriculum Development
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge
- Update teaching materials in line with industry and curriculum changes
- Contribute to course development and reviews
- Administration & General
- Maintain accurate learner records and tracking
- Support enrolment, open days, and employer engagement
- Attend meetings and CPD activities
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and college policies
- Travel between campuses as required
Requirements
- Relevant Plumbing qualification (Level 3 or above)
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards)
- Industry experience in Plumbing
- Maths & English (Level 2 minimum)
- Good communication and organisational skills
