A premier training provider is seeking an Apprenticeship Coach to support and develop engineering apprentices across the Wiltshire and Dorset region through a blend of face-to-face workshop visits and virtual delivery.
The Role:
- Coach, mentor, and monitor apprentices working toward the Engineering Operative Apprenticeship Standard.
- Conduct regular workplace observations, technical assessments, and formal progress reviews.
- Manage a dedicated apprentice caseload, providing constructive feedback and preparing apprentices for Gateway.
- Maintain accurate compliance records across MIS and e-portfolio learning systems.
- Build strong relationships with workplace line managers and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Level 2 or higher qualification in Engineering Maintenance (Mechanical Maintainer focus).
- Recognized teaching, training, assessor, or mentoring qualification.
- Proven experience delivering or supporting apprenticeship training programmes and managing caseloads.
- Strong digital skills for virtual delivery and detailed action planning.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to regional apprentice sites.
- Experience working with military or defense-sector apprentices is highly desirable.
