Electrical Vocational Trainer Coach Permanent Salary: £36,635 per annum Are you an experienced electrical professional looking to share your skills with the next generation of apprentices? About the Role An education provider is looking to appoint an Electrical Vocational Trainer Coach to teach, coach and assess apprentices who are not in full-time education, guiding them through their programme to ensure they gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for a timely, positive achievement. This is a permanent role, with a start date of October 2026. You'll manage your own caseload of apprentices, building strong relationships with learners and employers to keep progress on track and outcomes meeting funding and government requirements. You'll develop your own teaching, learning, assessment and coaching practice as you support apprentices through to completion, intervening early where learners fall behind to help them catch up. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a caseload of apprentices, ensuring they achieve in a timely manner against their agreed learning plan. Working with colleagues to support and facilitate learning, keeping apprentices engaged and on target to achieve their programme. Developing plans to help apprentices who have fallen behind or are at risk of non-achievement get back on track. Monitoring apprentices' progression and ensuring teaching, learning, assessment and coaching is completed to prepare them for End Point Assessment. Ensuring all apprentices are seen in line with standard operating procedures and funding rules. Engaging with employers and apprentices to keep them updated on progress and raise any concerns promptly. Taking part in CPD activities to support your own development and that of awarding organisation requirements. Engaging with employers and other stakeholders to grow and maintain your caseload, promoting the benefits of apprenticeships and enrolling new learners. Attending meetings, one-to-ones and other scheduled appointments as required. Promoting and monitoring equality of opportunity and safe working practice.What We're Looking For Essential: Industry experience within the electrical sector The ability to teach, coach and assess learners effectively Strong organisational skills to manage a varied caseload Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both apprentices and employers A commitment to ongoing CPD and professional developmentDesirable (but not essential): Previous experience in a training, coaching or assessing role within an apprenticeship setting Familiarity with funding rules and accountability frameworks within apprenticeship deliveryIf you're ready to bring your electrical expertise into the classroom and help shape the next generation of tradespeople, we'd love to hear from you.
