A leading training provider is seeking Electrical Training Officers to assess, guide, and support apprentices across the Southern region.

The Role

  • Assess and mentor apprentices to ensure they meet industry standards.
  • Work closely with employers to support apprentice placements and training.
  • Conduct reviews and skills assessments, ensuring apprentices are on the right pathway.
  • Provide constructive feedback and set learning targets.
  • Support apprentices in preparing for End-Point Assessments.
  • Promote career opportunities through schools and industry events.
  • Maintain compliance with safeguarding, Prevent, and health & safety policies.

About You

  • A recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship, or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (or willingness to upskill).
  • Relevant industry experience as a qualified electrician.
  • GCSE English & Maths (A-C/9-4) or equivalent.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Assessor qualifications (D32, D33, A1, TAQA).
  • 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification.
  • A Health & Safety qualification (IOSH Managing Safely).
  • Knowledge of the building services engineering sector.
