Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Installation Instructor to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to apprentices at Level 2 and Level 3. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing and delivering both theoretical and practical content, supporting learner progress, and ensuring positive outcomes in line with awarding body standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, prepare, and deliver engaging course materials for Electrical Installation in line with awarding body requirements.
- Teach both theory and practical sessions at Level 2 and Level 3.
- Assess and verify apprentices' coursework, ensuring timely feedback and adherence to awarding body criteria.
- Maintain accurate learner records, including attendance, punctuality, and progression.
- Supervise apprentices during training activities, maintaining high standards of discipline and control.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all apprentices during training sessions.
- Support learners with pastoral care, ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are upheld at all times.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in electrical installation and related fields through continuous professional development.
- Complete administrative tasks and documentation within required timeframes and to contractual standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including participation in industry events and committees.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching or training apprentices or students in a practical and/or classroom environment.
- Strong understanding of awarding body standards and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and pastoral skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, professional development, and delivering high-quality learning experiences.
