Are you a passionate and qualified Early Years professional dedicated to nurturing the development of young minds? We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Worker to join a vibrant, child-centred nursery team within a leading educational organization.

In this role, you will implement a structured programme of daily activities, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children aged 0-8 can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • As a Keyworker for a small group of children, your day-to-day duties will include:
  • Learning & Development: Planning and delivering appropriate activities aligned with national requirements and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Environment: Creating and maintaining a stimulating, challenging, safe, and hygienic child-centred environment.
  • Assessment: Regularly assessing and recording children's individual needs, progress, and development.
  • Parental Liaison: Building strong, professional relationships with parents and carers regarding their child's welfare and learning.
  • Teamwork & Care: Participating in staff meetings and curriculum planning, and undertaking domestic duties (e.g., preparation of healthy snacks/meals and equipment cleaning).
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Promoting a positive image of the organization's activities and adhering to all safeguarding, health and safety, and equality policies.
Requirements & Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Qualifications & Knowledge (Essential)
  • Level 3 Qualification: Diploma in Childcare and Education, NVQ Early Years Care and Education (Level 3), or equivalent.
  • A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) planning for ages 0-8.
  • Strong knowledge of children's development and Health & Safety practices in a nursery setting.
  • A demonstrable commitment to Safeguarding children and young people.
Experience & Skills (Essential)
  • Proven experience working with children aged 0-8 within a Nursery setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with parents and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively on your own initiative as well as collaboratively within a team.
Personal Qualities
  • A flexible, positive attitude with the ability to manage children's behaviour constructively.
  • A strong commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
  • A customer-focused approach to delivering excellent service.
