Are you an experienced FE Creative Industries leader looking for an interim leadership opportunity? We are seeking an experienced Director of Learning / Programme Manager to provide operational and curriculum leadership across a Creative Industries provision. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining Director-level responsibilities with Curriculum Manager duties. The successful candidate will provide strong day-to-day operational leadership while maintaining a clear focus on curriculum quality, performance and learner outcomes.

The Role

  • Leading and managing Creative Industries curriculum provision
  • Providing operational leadership across the area
  • Managing curriculum performance, quality and improvement
  • Supporting and developing teaching and curriculum teams
  • Monitoring learner outcomes, achievement and performance
  • Ensuring effective curriculum planning and delivery
  • Working with senior leaders and curriculum teams on priorities and improvement

About You

  • Strong Further Education leadership or curriculum management experience
  • A background within Creative Industries, such as Creative Media, Digital Media, Performing Arts, Art & Design, Music or related areas
  • Experience managing curriculum teams and programmes
  • Strong understanding of FE quality assurance and improvement
  • Experience working in an operational curriculum leadership capacity
  • The ability to quickly step into an interim leadership position and make an immediate impact

This could suit a current or recently experienced Curriculum Manager, Head of Curriculum, Head of Learning, Director of Learning or similar FE leader from a Creative Industries background.
