An established FE College in the Wiltshire/Bristol region is seeking a Curriculum Team Leader to head a successful Motor Vehicle department managing 170 learners with a consistent 90%+ success rate.
The Role:
- Effectively manage the delivery, co-ordination, and development of the Motor Vehicle curriculum.
- Directly line manage a team of 5 lecturers and 1 technician.
- Balance a 14-hour weekly teaching commitment with middle management, tracking KPIs, and admin duties.
- Work closely with senior leadership and local employers to shape and align provision.
Requirements:
- Level 5 minimum Teaching Qualification and educated to degree level.
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above).
- Proven experience as a qualified Motor Vehicle Lecturer with clear leadership or team-leading capabilities.
- Assessor/verifier awards and a management qualification are highly desirable (or willingness to work towards).
