About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting learners? Dovetail and Slate are an employment business working in partnership with over 200 colleges across the UK, and are offering exciting Head of Pastoral opportunities for individuals with experience in similar roles and with EHCP Consultations (FE experience desirable).
Responsibilities
- Act as the lead for student wellbeing within the department.
- Manage or oversee a team of Progress Coaches / Tutors / LSAs.
- Deliver or coordinate tutorial programmes (covering topics like mental health, British values, personal development).
- Support the Curriculum manager on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Teaching Qualification
- Management experience
- Up to date Safeguarding training, or a willingness to obtain
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
