Location: West London

Salary: Β£31,000 - Β£36,000 pro rata

Contract: Full-time or Part-time | Term-time

Are you a BSL Level 3+ qualified Communication Support Worker looking for a rewarding role supporting deaf and hard of hearing students? We are recruiting Communication Support Workers to join an FE setting, helping students access their learning and achieve their potential.

The Role

  • Provide BSL/communication support in the classroom.
  • Support deaf and hard of hearing students with their learning.
  • Adapt learning materials and curriculum content.
  • Work closely with teaching and support staff.
  • Support students with EHCPs and monitor progress.
  • Promote deaf awareness across the college.
  • Support students during trips, visits and wider activities.

About You

  • BSL Level 3 minimum.
  • Strong signing skills.
  • Experience supporting deaf/hard of hearing people.
  • Ideally, experience within an education setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A flexible and student-focused approach.
