You will work alongside teaching staff to maintain equipment, prepare assessment bays, and assist students during practical sessions while ensuring high Health & Safety standards. Key Responsibilities Workshop Maintenance: Maintain and repair electrical tools, testing equipment, and workshop machinery. Session Preparation: Set up materials, components, and practical bays for student sessions, demonstrations, and exams. Instructional Support: Provide technical assistance to staff and students during practical workshops. Health & Safety: Maintain safe, organized workshop environments in line with safety regulations and COSHH guidelines. Stock Control: Monitor consumables, assist with stocktakes, and support material ordering. Essential Requirements Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (or equivalent). Experience: 1+ years of practical electrical experience, particularly in maintenance or repair. Safety: Up-to-date knowledge of electrical Health & Safety standards. Skills: Strong communication, organization, and ability to build positive relationships with learners. Desirable Criteria Level 3 Electrical qualification or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Previous experience in an education or training environment.
