Job Purpose
- Build strong relationships with employers and external partners.
- Create new business opportunities, promote services and help meet income targets.
- Support students by helping arrange relevant placements and employer-led career opportunities.
Main Duties
- Contact new employers to promote training, apprenticeships and placement opportunities.
- Manage existing employer relationships and identify opportunities to offer extra services.
- Work with teaching teams to find suitable placement opportunities for students.
- Arrange employer activities such as careers talks, masterclasses, interview practice and virtual work experience.
- Make sure placements have proper supervision and meet health and safety requirements.
- Keep CRM records, sales activity, placement details and employer updates accurate.
Requirements
- Experience in business development, sales, employer engagement or a similar role.
- Confident working with employers, clients and wider stakeholders.
- Knowledge on how to build professional relationships.
- Able to give clear and consistent guidance to employers, students, parents and staff.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
