The Role
A specialist apprenticeship training provider is seeking a Plumbing & Gas Tutor to support the delivery of high-quality apprenticeship training across Plumbing, Gas, and Renewable technologies. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced industry professional looking to move into education while maintaining a strong practical focus. You will support apprentices through both practical and theoretical learning, helping them progress towards successful completion of their qualifications and End Point Assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training and assessment to Plumbing & Gas apprentices
- Support learners preparing for End Point Assessment (EPA)
- Monitor learner progress and complete regular reviews with employers and apprentices
- Maintain accurate learner tracking and Off the Job training records
- Support learners' personal development and progression
- Promote safe working practices and professional behaviours
- Act as a positive role model within the training environment
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing & Heating
- Minimum 2 years' industry experience within Plumbing & Heating
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Willingness to complete mandatory training
