CNC Programming Teacher / Trainer
Contract Type: Full Time Permanent
Location: Huddersfield
Salary:
- Industry Professionals (No teaching qualification): £34,000 - £36,000
- Qualified Teachers/Lecturers: up to £43,000
Role
You will deliver engaging practical and theory-based sessions to Level 3 apprentices, supporting the next generation of engineers in developing their CNC machining and programming skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver workshop and classroom-based training
- Teach CNC machining, operating and programming principles
- Support and mentor Level 3 apprentices
- Prepare learners for successful completion of their NVQ qualifications
- Work as part of a supportive engineering and apprenticeship team
Requirements
We welcome applications from both qualified teachers and experienced industry professionals.
To be considered, you will need:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Machining or a related discipline
- Strong industry experience in CNC machining, operating and programming
- Passion for developing apprentices and sharing industry knowledge
