Salary: £37,000 – £42,000 + Package

Whether you are currently working as an Electrician or already established in further education, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation professional to support apprentices throughout their apprenticeship programme. You will carry out assessments, teaching, class planning, progress reviews, and portfolio checks, working closely with apprentices and employers to monitor progress and ensure learners meet the required standards at every stage of their development.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct workplace assessments and reviews
  • Monitor and record apprentice progress
  • Guide apprentices through End Point Assessment preparation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers
  • Contribute to business development initiatives
  • Keep up to date with industry standards and Health & Safety
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and records

Essential Requirements

  • Have an Electrician or Assessors background in installation
  • A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Domestic and Commercial Electrical Installation
  • Substantial, relevant industry experience
  • An Assessor and/or IQA qualification (desirable)
  • Experience in teaching or assessing
  • Be an ECS Gold Card holder
  • Wiring Regulations knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirements
  • Confidence using IT systems and digital tools
  • Flexibility and a collaborative mindset
