An FE College group on the Hampshire Coast is seeking an Aeronautical Engineering Lecturer to deliver technical training and support the ongoing development of its aerospace curriculum.
The Role:
- Teach and assess students across classroom, tutorial, and practical aeronautical engineering environments.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons while providing constructive feedback to track learner progress.
- Act as a Personal Tutor, offering academic guidance, pastoral support, and monitoring overall student achievement.
- Support wider college initiatives, including employer engagement, student placements, and open recruitment events.
- Lead or contribute to course design, quality assurance reviews, and the development of schemes of work.
Requirements:
- Relevant aeronautical or engineering-related qualification (degree and/or extensive professional industry experience).
- Solid industry background in aeronautical engineering, aircraft maintenance, or related aerospace fields.
- Recognized teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one fully supported by the college.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative teamwork skills.
