An exciting opportunity has arisen for a student-focused Curriculum Leader in Motor Vehicle to lead a dynamic and forward-thinking Automotive department within a well-established further education provider.
About the Role
You will lead and manage the Motor Vehicle provision, supporting a team of lecturers to deliver high-quality teaching and training. The role involves shaping the curriculum, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring students achieve strong outcomes and progression into industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Motor Vehicle lecturers
- Oversee curriculum planning, delivery, and quality assurance
- Monitor teaching, learning, and assessment standards
- Track student progress, achievement, and retention
- Build and maintain links with employers and industry partners
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and internal procedures
About You
- Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Motor Vehicle or related field
- Recognised teaching qualification
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
- Experience teaching or training in Motor Vehicle (FE or industry)
- Experience leading, mentoring, or managing staff
