We are looking for an experienced, qualified Regional Head to lead and oversee our work across Telford and the wider Midlands. This senior role provides strategic direction, ensures high-quality delivery, and supports the growth and wellbeing of both staff and students. The position centres on three key areas:
- Guiding and strengthening the organisation's long-term vision and values
- Championing professional growth, personal development, and community connections
- Maintaining strong accountability, oversight, and consistent standards across the region
Role Responsibilities
- Uphold Headteacher Standards and contribute to our 2030 vision, values, and culture.
- Create and drive a clear vision of excellence across regional centres.
- Lead high standards in SEND, education, administration, safeguarding, and health & safety.
- Provide motivational, empowering leadership for staff and students.
- Make confident, informed decisions and manage difficult conversations effectively.
- Communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, even in challenging situations.
- Promote a learning culture by encouraging reflection, feedback, and continuous improvement.
- Shape and implement effective strategies, policies, and documentation.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or equivalent Higher Education qualification.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Professional qualifications in education, leadership, or work with children/young people.
- NASENCO qualification or willingness to complete it on starting.
- IOSH management/leadership qualification or willingness to complete it on starting.
- At least five years' recent senior leadership experience working with young people or communities.
- Experience collaborating with external agencies and following relevant policies and protocols.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding in education or youth work.
- Able to use systems and policies to monitor and support staff and student safety.
- Extensive experience with CPOMS.
