We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Bricklaying Lecturer to join a dynamic team supporting offenders to gain their qualifications. Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging classes to learners who are based within the prison.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning programmes that meet learners' needs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external quality assurance requirements and relevant strategic and delivery plans.
  • Deliver challenging and stimulating sessions informed by learner needs and performance data.
  • Set, monitor, and review SMART targets using Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
  • Maintain accurate learner records, including enrolments, progress, completions, and withdrawals.
  • Support learning administration, including assessments, schemes of work, course reviews, and inductions.
  • Promote high-quality, inclusive teaching and learning materials.
  • Liaise with external agencies and awarding bodies as required.

Essential Criteria:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification appropriate to the role.
  • Experience supporting learners to re-engage with education.
  • A recognised teaching qualification. All applicants for teaching roles must hold a recognised teaching qualification, or be willing to achieve one within the first two years of employment, with support from the College.
