Dovetail and Slate are an employment business working in partnership with over 200 colleges across the UK, offering exciting Foundation Lecturer opportunities for individuals with experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs subjects including Life Skills, Employability, Cookery, and more!
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to different learner needs.
- Assess student work, provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
- Support learners with academic and pastoral guidance, monitoring progress and attendance.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, quality assurance and programme development.
- Attend meetings, follow safeguarding and compliance procedures, and participate in CPD.
Requirements:
- Teaching qualification and the willingness to obtain an ENHANCED DBS check.
- Experience teaching children or young adults with SEN.
- Knowledge of additional learning needs.
- Up to date Safeguarding training, or a willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS.
