Are you an experienced Further Education, adult skills, training or workforce development professional with strong commercial and employer engagement experience?
We are supporting an education provider in London to appoint a Head of Business Development & Employer Skills.
The Role
A senior leadership position combining commercial leadership, curriculum innovation, employer engagement and operational management.
You will lead the growth of adult skills, professional short courses and employer-led training, working with employers, local authorities and strategic partners to develop provision aligned with workforce demand and emerging skills needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing employer partnerships and new business opportunities
- Leading adult skills, short course and commercial training provision
- Driving curriculum innovation and income growth
- Managing teams, budgets and income targets
- Leading Careers Education and employability activity
- Supporting strategic projects focused on growth and innovation
About You
You will have:
- Significant experience within Further Education, adult skills, training or workforce development
- Strong experience in business development and employer engagement
- Knowledge of adult funding methodologies
- Experience developing partnerships and delivering projects
- A track record of identifying growth opportunities and managing income targets
- Experience leading teams and operational activity
