We are recruiting for an experienced Curriculum Manager - Counselling to join a Further Education college in Central London on a full-time temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced curriculum leader to take responsibility for the leadership, management and development of Counselling provision, driving high-quality teaching, learner achievement and curriculum growth.
The Role
- Lead and manage Counselling curriculum delivery across the college
- Drive improvements in recruitment, retention, achievement and learner experience
- Lead and develop teaching teams, supporting high-quality teaching and learning
- Oversee quality assurance, lesson observations, self-assessment and improvement planning
- Manage curriculum performance, learner progress and achievement targets
- Develop and improve the Counselling and Mental Health curriculum offer
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to curriculum planning, strategic development and resource management
- Teach approximately 10-15 hours per week, depending on service requirements
About You
- Experienced Curriculum Manager, Head of Curriculum, Programme Manager or similar
- Strong background in Counselling and/or Mental Health
- Experience leading and developing teaching teams within FE
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and curriculum improvement
- Proven experience improving learner recruitment, retention and achievement
- Full teaching qualification is essential due to the teaching commitment
- Relevant degree/professional qualification in Counselling, Mental Health or a related subject
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
