Whether you are currently working as an Electrician or already established as a Trainer, we are seeking an Electrical Trainer to support apprentices throughout their apprenticeship programme. In this predominantly office-based role, you will deliver high-quality training, carry out learner reviews, support portfolio development, and prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment (EPA). You will work closely with learners and employers to ensure progress, competence, and compliance with apprenticeship standards at every stage of development.

Role Responsibilities
- Delivering electrical training aligned to apprenticeship standards
- Supporting apprentices with off-the-job learning and portfolio development
- Conducting learner reviews and tracking progress against agreed targets
- Preparing learners for End Point Assessment (EPA)
- Providing technical guidance and pastoral support to apprentices
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers
- Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement
- Keeping up to date with industry standards and Health & Safety requirements
- Maintaining accurate learner records and documentation
Essential Requirements
- Background as an Electrician and/or Electrical Trainer
- Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Domestic and Commercial Electrical Installation
- Substantial and relevant industry experience
- Teaching, training, or assessing experience
- Assessor and/or teaching qualification (desirable)
- CSCS Gold Card holder
- Up-to-date knowledge of Wiring Regulations
- Strong understanding of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirements
- Confident using IT systems and digital learning tools
- Flexible, organised, and collaborative approach
