A leading college in Huddersfield is looking to appoint a CNC Programming Teacher / Trainer to work exclusively with NVQ Level 3 Engineering Apprentices in both workshop and classroom environments. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced engineering lecturer/tutor or a highly skilled industry professional looking to move into education. No previous teaching experience is required for industry candidates - full teacher training and qualifications will be fully funded.
The Role
- Delivering engaging practical and theory-based sessions to Level 3 apprentices, supporting the next generation of engineers in developing their CNC machining and programming skills.
- Delivering workshop and classroom-based training.
- Teaching CNC machining, operating and programming principles.
- Supporting and mentoring Level 3 apprentices.
- Preparing learners for successful completion of their NVQ qualifications.
- Working as part of a supportive engineering and apprenticeship team.
Requirements
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Machining or a related discipline.
- Strong industry experience in CNC machining, operating and programming.
