We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Animal Welfare & Management Lecturer to join a thriving land-based college and inspire the next generation of animal care professionals.

The Role
You will deliver engaging and practical Animal Welfare & Management lessons across a range of programmes, supporting learners to develop the skills and knowledge required for careers within the animal care industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching across Animal Welfare & Management programmes
- Support learners to achieve positive outcomes and progression opportunities
- Act as a course tutor, monitoring attendance, progress, and student wellbeing
- Participate in practical demonstrations and industry-related learning activities
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives
- Support student recruitment activities, including open events and careers fairs
Essential Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Animal Welfare, Animal Management, Animal Science, or a related discipline
- Relevant industry experience within the animal care sector
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DET) or willingness to work towards one
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passion for supporting learners to achieve their full potential
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
