An education provider is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Curriculum Manager to provide leadership across their mechanical engineering provision. Reporting to the Head of School for Engineering, this role combines managing study programmes, providing leadership for a team of lecturers and developing the courses. You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management, supporting a team of lecturers and support staff to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment. You'll help learners progress from foundation levels through to advanced study, ensuring your provision remains relevant to the sector and to employer needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of teaching and support staff within the mechanical engineering section.
- Overseeing the planning, delivery and quality assurance of the curriculum across all levels.
- Teaching and assessing across mechanical engineering programmes.
- Monitoring learner progress and driving strong outcomes and retention.
- Supporting the recruitment, development and appraisal of section staff.
- Contributing to the wider development of the engineering provision.

- Full Level 5 teaching qualification
- Mechanical Engineering Qualification or Related Field
