Role Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in GCSE and Functional Skills Maths, primarily to construction and vocational learners.
- Plan and assess learning in line with college policies, ensuring all students are supported to achieve their goals.
- Track and monitor student progress through effective feedback and assessment.
- Collaborate with vocational teams to embed numeracy within practical learning.
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring teaching is relevant and inspiring.

Essential Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
- Experience teaching GCSE Maths in FE or secondary education.
- Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and support learners, particularly those in vocational programmes.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
