We are looking for an innovative and dedicated Lecturer in Instrumentation and Control to join a thriving Engineering department in the North East. What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver and manage high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment in Instrumentation and Control Systems within the Engineering sector.
- Provide both practical and theoretical instruction in specialist areas relating to instrumentation and control systems.
- Support students in both their academic and personal development, helping them achieve their full potential.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that connect classroom learning with real-world engineering applications.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learner experience and support a diverse range of student needs.
- Contribute to student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression through effective guidance and support.
What We're Looking For
- Are a qualified Teacher or are willing to work towards achieving a teaching qualification.
- Hold a minimum Level 5 qualification in Instrumentation Engineering.
- Have GCSEs at Grade C / Level 4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications.
- Possess relevant industrial experience within Instrumentation Engineering - Essential.
