We are currently recruiting Maths Lecturers and Teachers across South Yorkshire to deliver A Level, GCSE, and Functional Skills Maths within schools and FE colleges. Whether you specialise in academic pathways or resit provision, we have opportunities to suit your experience.
The Role
- You will deliver high-quality Maths teaching across A Level, GCSE, and/or Functional Skills, supporting learners to achieve strong outcomes and progress into further education, apprenticeships, or employment.
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across your specialism.
- Teach A Level, GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths.
- Differentiate lessons to support mixed-ability and resit learners.
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Support learners with exam preparation and confidence building.
- Contribute to curriculum delivery and departmental success.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Requirements
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching A Level, GCSE or Functional Skills Maths.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to engage learners.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable
- Experience within Further Education or Sixth Form settings.
- Strong results with GCSE resit learners.
- Ability to teach across multiple levels (FS, GCSE, A Level).
