Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician looking for a new challenge? Or are you already teaching and looking for your next opportunity? We are looking for passionate and motivated Motor Vehicle Lecturers to join our growing automotive team. No teaching qualification? No problem. We welcome applications from unqualified lecturers. If you hold an NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle (or equivalent) and have industry experience, we'll provide all the training and support you need to gain a recognised teaching qualification while you work.
You'll deliver engaging theory and practical lessons across Level 1 to Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Repair programmes, helping learners develop the technical knowledge and practical skills needed to progress into employment or apprenticeships.
The Role
- Deliver engaging classroom and workshop-based teaching.
- Teach learners across Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Motor Vehicle programmes.
- Support full-time students, adult learners and apprentices.
- Inspire, motivate and develop the next generation of automotive technicians.
- Plan lessons, assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
- Promote a positive, safe and professional learning environment.
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle (or equivalent).
- Recent industry experience within the motor vehicle sector.
- Enthusiasm for developing and inspiring future technicians.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Teaching experience is not essential. If you're new to education, we'll support you in achieving a recognised teaching qualification.
