A respected education and training provider local to Hull is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is ideal for an engineering professional looking to move into education. No teaching qualifications are required - fully funded teaching and assessing qualifications will be provided for the right candidate.

The Role

You will deliver engaging theory and practical sessions to Level 3 and Level 4 Engineering learners, supporting their technical development and preparing them for successful careers in industry. Teaching areas will include (but are not limited to):

  • Mechanical principles
  • Engineering mathematics
  • Engineering science
  • Fluid mechanics
  • CAD
  • Production engineering
  • Related mechanical engineering subjects

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (or closely related discipline)
  • Extensive industry experience within mechanical engineering
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage and motivate learners
  • A commitment to achieving teaching and assessing qualifications (fully funded)
