The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an exciting senior leadership role: Head of Schools, overseeing the strategic development and delivery of schools provision across the UK. Based in the West of England with excellent transport links, this role involves regular travel to schools nationwide, offering the chance to make a measurable impact on pre-16 learners.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced education leader with a background in alternative provision, vocational pathways, or pre-16 curriculum delivery who thrives in both operational and strategic environments.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop schools provision across multiple sites in England and Wales.

Ensure high standards in quality, safeguarding, learner outcomes, and staff development.

Oversee curriculum delivery, assessment practice, and compliance.

Build strong partnerships with schools, colleges, and local authorities.

Monitor performance against KPIs and implement continuous improvement strategies.

Manage budgets, resources, and reporting to ensure efficiency.

Represent the organisation with stakeholders including Ofsted and DfE.
About You
We are looking for someone who can bring both vision and delivery:

Proven leadership experience in education, ideally within pre-16 vocational/alternative provision.

Strong operational and financial management skills.

A recognised teaching qualification (or equivalent experience).

Excellent communicator, able to influence at all levels.

Flexible and adaptable β comfortable with UK wide travel.
