We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic English Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching to 16+ learners re-sitting their English GCSE or completing Functional Skills qualifications.

Role Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons in GCSE and Functional Skills English to learners aged 16+.
- Teach part-time adult learners through evening classes as required.
- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons that inspire confidence and achievement.
- Support learners in achieving a minimum of grade 4 at GCSE level.
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to maximise success.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance curriculum design.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in English or related subject, or Level 5 qualification in teaching English.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed) or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience delivering English at GCSE and/or Functional Skills level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-focused education.
- Flexibility to work across multiple campuses.
