Are you a passionate English educator looking to make a real difference? I\’m currently working on behalf of a Training Provider looking for a qualified and passionate English Tutor to join their high-performing team.
This is a permanent, part-time teaching role focused on delivering both GCSE and Functional Skills English to learners in Luton, with flexibility for admin from home.
What You\’ll Be Doing

Deliver engaging and effective English lessons (GCSE & Functional Skills)

Tailor sessions to individual learner needs, supporting their confidence and progression

Complete and review Individual Learning Plans with SMART targets

Collaborate with vocational teams to improve learner retention and success

Carry out assessments and ensure all admin meets awarding body requirements

Inspire learners to see maths differently and prepare them for work or further study
About the Role
You\’ll be joining a supportive and forward-thinking English & Maths division, delivering sessions that inspire learners and help them build confidence in maths – a vital stepping stone to their next stage in life or work.
Working pattern:

1 full day onsite (8:30am – 4:30pm)

2 hours admin (flexible/home-based)
What They\’re Looking For
To be considered, you\’ll need:

A 2+ years\’ experience teaching GCSE or Functional Skills English

A Level 3 English specialism

A recognised teaching qualification (min. Level 3)
