Learning Support Assistant Contract Location: the West Midlands Pay: £16.00 per hour Umbrella Start date: September 2026 Are you passionate about helping learners overcome barriers and reach their full potential? About the Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work alongside teaching staff at a further education provider to give learners the individual support they need to succeed. You'll play a key part in making sessions accessible, engaging and inclusive for every student. Working across the classroom, you'll support learners on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping them to build confidence, develop independence and stay on track with their studies. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting learners individually and in small groups to access the curriculum. Working closely with lecturers to adapt materials and activities to meet learner needs. Helping learners to build confidence, independence and study skills. Encouraging positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment. Monitoring learner progress and feeding back to teaching staff.
