You'll join an education provider as an Estates Group Decorator, responsible for maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appearance of buildings across all campuses. Reporting to the Director of Estates, Facilities, Health & Safety and Security, you'll take pride in keeping a busy education environment looking its best.
This is a cross-campus role, so you'll manage your tasks and responsibilities effectively while travelling between multiple sites. The role involves regular evening and weekend working, giving you variety and the chance to make a real difference across the organisation.
You'll bring a hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail, combining skilled decorating work with wider site maintenance to support a safe, welcoming setting for students and staff.
- Developing and managing a schedule of decorating across all campuses.
- Carrying out planned maintenance projects and responding to reactive repair requests.
- Completing sealing and mastic work within bathrooms, kitchens and other suitable areas.
- Assisting with general maintenance duties, such as setting up for exams or moving furniture.
- Working at height, erecting and using scaffolding or working platforms as required.
Experience in painting and decorating, including surface preparation and finishing.
A flexible approach, with willingness to work regular evenings and weekends.
Confidence working at height using scaffolding or working platforms.
Experience within an education or estates setting.
A permanent role across multiple campuses.
