Specialist Teaching Assistant Location: Suffolk Contract Are you a patient, dedicated support professional looking to make a real difference to young people who need more from their education? As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside teachers and the wider support team to help pupils access their learning and thrive. Working with a multi-academy trust in Suffolk, you'll provide tailored support that meets the individual needs of the young people in your care. You'll build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, encouraging engagement, confidence and independence. Supporting pupils individually and in small groups to help them access the curriculum. Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils to develop confidence and independence. Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils and contributing to a safe, inclusive learning environment. Monitoring and recording pupil progress and feeding back to the teaching team. Experience of working with children or young people, ideally in an education or support setting Strong communication and relationship-building skills A genuine commitment to helping young people succeed A relevant teaching assistant or support qualification Experience supporting pupils with additional needs If you're ready to help young people reach their potential, we'd love to hear from you.
