We are currently recruiting Science Lecturers and Teachers across the West Midlands to deliver A Level, BTEC, and GCSE Science. Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science, we have opportunities across schools, sixth forms, and FE colleges.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality Science teaching across A Level, BTEC, and/or GCSE, supporting learners to achieve strong academic outcomes and progress into higher education, apprenticeships, or careers in STEM.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons within your specialism
- Teach A Level, BTEC and/or GCSE Science
- Differentiating teaching to support mixed-ability learners
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Support learners with practical work, coursework, and exam preparation
- Contribute to curriculum delivery and departmental success
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Essential Requirements
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching A Level, BTEC or GCSE Science
- Strong subject knowledge in your specialism
- Confident delivering both theory and practical lessons
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
- Experience within Further Education or Sixth Form settings
- Ability to teach across multiple levels (GCSE, BTEC, A Level)
- Strong track record of learner achievement and progression
