Role Responsibilities
Deliver engaging teaching across Animal Management and Welfare courses up to Level 3.
Develop high-quality instructional materials and contribute to the growth of a new curriculum.
Act as a personal tutor, providing pastoral support and guidance to learners.
Promote attendance, progression, and achievement for all students.
Support learners in accessing suitable work placements within the sector.
Contribute to curriculum planning, team meetings, and quality improvement activities.
Essential Requirements
A teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in animal science, zoology, veterinary science, or a related field (desired but not essential).
Previous teaching experience within Further Education.
Industry experience within the animal management sector or similar environment.
GCSEs (or equivalent Level 2) in Maths and English.
