It operates a portfolio of loved brands including Doves Farm, FREEE and Wessex Mill. This Senior Brand Manager role holds the responsibility for FREEE – a leading gluten free and free-from brand in the UK with its range of breakfast cereal, pasta, oat bars and baking products including the UK’s #1 gluten free flour brand. The role is office based 5 days a week on our site 3 miles outside Hungerford in the beautiful North Wessex Downs. Please do not apply if you unable to commit to an on-site position. The role can be flexed to reduced/compressed hours over 4 days. Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 FTE, Depending on Experience TEAM The role will be part of the Doves Farm Foods marketing team of 7 and reports to the Head of Marketing. It line manages a Customer Services & Marketing Assistant (FREEE) and interacts with creative, PR, social media, media and design agencies. It works closely with the rest of the business including Sales, Product Development, Production and Technical. GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES · Support the Head of Marketing in developing the strategic and overall annual plans for FREEE. · Develop, propose and execute on-going marketing campaigns and activities across digital, print, email, PR, influencer, and other channels to deliver the agreed business & marketing plan & KPIs. · Management of FREEE’s social media channels – organic and paid. · Marketing lead on relevant NPD & EPD projects working collaboratively with other functions including Sales, Product Development, Production and Technical. · Deliver artwork change projects for FREEE including leading on refresh projects. · Work with the recipe development team ensuring engaging recipe content is always available to help promote FREEE’s baking range. · Deliver successful activation of consumer shows/events working with the Events Co-ordinator. · Monitor & evaluate sales performance, marketing activity and campaigns and report on successes and opportunities for improvement on a monthly and ad hoc basis. · Stay abreast with market place developments, trends and competitor activity and build into thinking for future activity & NPD pipeline. · Manage the marketing budget · Line management of the FREEE Marketing Assistant who’ll support across activities above. · Support the marketing team with other departmental and broader business activity as required. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE · Candidates with solid experience from a similar role in food/drink will be preferred. · You are an excellent communicator both verbally and written and can write for publication. · You combine strong commercial analytical skills with creative flair and story-telling ability. · You take the initiative, solve problems effectively, and are happy to get stuck in and be hands on. · You are very well organised and pay attention to detail whilst managing a busy and varied agenda. · You have excellent IT skills, are proficient in Microsoft Office or similar, and social media platforms. · A passion for food/drink and marketing is essential.
