JOB DESCRIPTION

To assist in the maintenance – planned, preventative and breakdown-- of all machinery and equipment at Doves Farm Foods to ensure their smooth and efficient operation.

  • REPORTING TO Chief Engineer – Production Manager
  • AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
  • To attend all mechanical breakdowns, and assist in machinery adjustments
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults
  • Maintain machinery maintenance programmes and records
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of spare parts
  • Keep workshop in clean & tidy condition and control tools on site
  • Maintain and improve building fabric
  • Provide holiday/sickness cover
  • Deputise for Chief Engineer and assist with clerical matters as required
  • Complete all documentation relevant to position
  • Liaising with Managers to help implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as required
  • Compliance with relevant UK law
  • WORK PATTERN: Night shift / 10pm - 6am
  • Wages paid on 37.5 hour week
