This position is responsible for the cleaning of Dovery Academy, to undertake the evening cleaning 10 hours per week from 16:00 - 18:00, Monday to Friday during school term time only, including inset days, excluding any bank holidays that fall within term time.
Main duties
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning etc)
- Empty waste bins
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Clean & Sanitise all toilets
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations

- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Adhere to the School and Trust’s Safeguarding Policies and Staff Code of Conduct.
- Work within the school’s Diversity Policy to promote equality of opportunity for all students and staff, both current and prospective
- Maintain high professional standards of attendance, punctuality, appearance, conduct and positive, courteous relations with students, parents and colleagues
- Adhere to policies on the school and Trust websites
- Comply with the Data Protection Act/ GDPR
- Undertake other reasonable duties related to the job purpose required from time to time.
